What’s Your Word of the year for 2019?

by Amee 4 Comments

I am sure you have heard people talking about what their “Word of the Year” is for 2019! If you don’t know what I am talking about it’s where you choose a word to live by,a word that will inspire you and have deep personal meaning for you.

Create Personal Growth with a Word of the Year!

Last year my word was Joy, I chose it because at this time last year I was in my own form of hell. I needed to focus as much as I could on things that brought me JOY. I wasn’t totally successful, but honestly I tried my best. I took my kids on a vacation alone, I went on a cruise by myself, I focused on people and interests that made me happy while I white knuckled my way through each and every day.

The other day I was asked about what my new word would be and I had to take a step back and give it some thought. I have learned so much about myself this past year, I have unlocked subconscious chains from my childhood abuse and abandonment issues bringing me much enlightenment.

The word that I am focusing on for 2019 is HAPPY. While happiness might seem easy at first glance, but when you suffer from debilitating depression and anxiety it’s something you have to choose daily. Happiness is a choice and yet for so many it’s extremely hard to attain. Especially for me!!

What's Your Word of the Year for 2019?

The ways I plan to focus on my HAPPY is learning to be content in my abilities, learning to stop being my worst enemy and sharing my journey with those who need to be inspired. My life is messy, I am a cracked human being, but those cracks only show the beauty of what never giving up looks like. I believe I can finally find my HAPPY.

What's Your Word of the year for 2019?

My word HAPPY is not only going to be my word, but my motto this next year because I deserve to be content and happy.

I would love to hear what your word is going to be?
