Cloth Diaper Organization At Its Best

How to Organize Cloth Diapers

I am an organized person or at least I make attempts at it, but recently my cloth diaper stash started to invade my bedroom.  It bugged me to have piles of clean diapers all over my bedroom floor or have them still hang from the indoor clothes line.   At first, I put the diapers in wicker baskets on the shelves of my changing table, but as my collection of cloth diapers grew this area became overflowed.  I tried to use some plastic three-drawer organizers, but I had no room for them, and my husband tripped over them in the early morning to get to his dresser.

How to Organize Cloth Diapers

The other day I pulled out the baby toys for my two month old daughter, and inside the storage container was a pet net I purchased a long time ago from the Ikea store.  It had several separate compartments, and it could be hung from the ceiling.  I thought it would work perfectly for cloth diaper storage, and so I had my husband hang it next to the changing table.  It works very well.  I like the fact that it takes up little to no space, and it hangs out of the way next to the wall.  This pet net works well for cloth diaper storage because it has six compartments to store various sizes for each child and areas for the pads.  In the top compartment I store diapers my daughter Ayla outgrew, then large and small microfiber inserts in another compartment, and the last three have the other diapers and Super Undies.  The pet net not only organizes the diapers, but it makes cloth diapering much easier for everyone.  My husband is no longer confused as to what diaper goes to which kid, and what insert goes with each type of diaper.  My room is now much cleaner, and I feel less stressed about cloth diapering.  This could be cloth diaper organization at its best, and is a method to help you store your diapers for multiple kids.

I would like to know what you do to organize your diapers?

Happy Diapering!
